FAQ

Is the court and net system MHSAA approved?
Yes. The playing area measures 60' x 30', with additional area for serving (13' each end) and seating (8' each side). The entire court is roughly 86' x 46' but can be reduced some if needed. Our net has 3 heights, sized for men, women and junior.
Will refs allow this?
We recommend confirming with officials and the opposing team beforehand. Our courts have been successfully used in official MHSAA games, and officials consistently enjoy refereeing outdoor matches!
Will the court or net system cause damage?
No. Our net system is entirely portable and freely sits on top of our sport court tiles. No holes or anchors needed, protecting your surfaces beneath. Our court sits flat on top of all surfaces, from turf to concrete. The court is made up of thick plastic modular tiles that do not cause any damage. Rubber underlayment is available by request (free of charge). You may provide your own subfloor (OSB, etc), but it is not required.
Can I rent the court for non-sporting events?
Yes! You can rent just the court tiles for a discounted rate. Great for dances, community events, school spirit nights, fundraisers or live music. We just ask that you clean up any spills prior to teardown.
Can I rent the court only for other sports besides volleyball?
Yes. You may add temporary tape to the court once assembled, but you are responsible for adding and removing the tape and cleaning up any residue it leaves.
What all is included?
1x1 interlocking tiles, kevlar competition volleyball net with tensioning crank, poles and weighted bases, antennas, rope covers, post pads, base pads and a fully padded ref stand.
How much notice do you need to schedule? I don't have much time!
We only need 48 hours notice to schedule. We're very flexible and can work around your schedule. Reach out with any questions!
Do you accept school purchase orders?
Yes. We regularly work with schools and can process purchase orders. We'll provide any required documentation and vendor information to your district. We require a signed lease agreement, along with a Certificate of Insurance naming Court Anywhere LLC as additional insured for the event.
What locations do you service?
We service Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin. Contact us for a custom quote for other states.
Do you offer delivery?
At this time, delivery is not offered. You must pick up and return the court to Fenton, MI. The entire system can fit into an enclosed car hauler trailer. Total weight is approximately 11,000 lbs. It takes roughly 1 hour to load with 5 strong people who are able to push pallets on a pallet jack up a ramp into the trailer. There are 4 pallets of court tiles, 1 pallet of concrete blocks, 2 poles, 2 ballasts, a ref stand, (optional) rubber underlayment and lots of padding.
Do you offer installation or teardown services?
We do not offer installation since it takes a good army of 30+ volunteers (players, parents, football team, boosters, etc.) to assemble. The entire court can be assembled in roughly 2-3 hours.
What tools do I need to assemble the court?
We recommend a large crescent wrench to make adjustments to the ballasts once weighed down with concrete blocks, mallets if you decide to install a subfloor, work gloves, lots of water and 30+ volunteers. And maybe some pizzas.
How sturdy is the net system? Will the players be safe?
Each side is weighed down with 570 lbs of solid cement blocks (in addition the weight of the full metal system) to prevent collapsing and floor creep. The system is designed to stand freely under tension and withstand the forces from active games.
